Summertime，是美國音樂劇Porgy and Bess裡的歌曲，由George Gershwin作曲、Ira Gershwin和DuBose Heyward作曲。

第一次聽到Summertime這首歌，應該是在「黃俊雄布袋戲」裡。

每次劇中的某個角色(早已不復記憶了！)出現前，一定會先播放這首歌。

後來這首歌也收錄在「西洋老式情歌專輯」，聽它多遍後，自然而然地就會唱了！

在夏天，White Rock海邊所舉辦的Waterfront Concert Series裡，不同的樂團都不約而同的選奏(唱)這首歌，一來，它是經典作品、容易引起聽眾的共鳴；二來，夏日的海邊，海風徐徐、遊人如織，這首歌最是應景！

不論是「Pacific Showtime Chorus」的Cappella唱法，「Chico and Tim」雙人吉他彈奏，或者是「Scarlet and Blues Quartet」的四重奏，表現的方式雖不同，卻是一樣好聽，真不愧是經典老歌！
