Hi my name is Glen Pearson, I have been playing music professionally since the age of thirteen. I started off playing drums and singing lead vocals with my families band as we toured most of Western Canada.
My father Gord was a big influence and one of the original West Coast Rock and Rollers in the 50's. His band was the first rock and roll act to tour BC in the sideshow of a circus!
I eventually became the bass player and then found my niche as the lead guitar player. Music is my life and passion and I love it!
I have had the pleasure to play with some great musicians including Buddy Miles, Jim Byrnes, Jerry Adolphe and Russel Jackson formerly of the BB King Band.
I have been hosting blues jams in and around Vancouver for the last 15 years and have had the pleasure of playing with and watching some great people perform.
My brother Lorne helped me co-write our first CD which came out in 2005 and we are currently working on our next project.
Our first CD had a good mix of a few different styles but our next CD will focus mainly on the Blues.
I plan on playing more festivals in 2010 and promoting my original songs as well as some great blues classics. I hope to see you at one of my shows!
