Canada Day—Oh Canada!
今年的Canada Day (Jul. 01)，是Canada的145個生日，White Rock海邊照例有盛大的慶祝活動。
只是連續幾天的陰雨，直到當日才放晴，使得遊客較往年少。
退潮的White Rock Pier下的沙灘，有人寫下好大的「OH CANADA！」來慶祝！

今年的加拿大日(Canada Day)，受到持續陰雨、天候不佳的影響，White Rock海邊的人潮明顯減少許多，但是慶祝活動還是照表操課、按時推出。

Canada Day(7月1日)，White Rock的慶祝活動
加拿大日（英語：Canada Day，法語：Fête du Canada）是加拿大的全國公眾假日，訂於每年的7月1日，也是加拿大國慶日。
循例，White Rock都會舉辦一系列的慶祝活動，活動在當日上午十時展開，最後的壓軸戲則是海邊的「煙火表演」(fireworks display)。
依據主辦單位所發佈的新聞，今年的活動內容如下，有興趣的人可以前往欣賞！
1. At East Beach, join in the children’s sandcastle event and enjoy a delicious pancake breakfast.
2. Keep your kids busy and entertained at the Kids’ Zone from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.
3. At West Beach, peruse the artisan and vendor booths the boardwalk.
4. Support the White Rock firefighters and have a bite to eat at their hot dog sale.
5. On the CIBC Grandview Corners Main Stage, performances include a presentation by the White Rock Children’s Choir, a magic show, and various musical and dance productions.
6. Artisan booths along White Rock’s world famous promenade.
7. Kite flying exhibition and a children’s sandcastle competition at East Beach.
8. The grand finale is a fireworks display over Semiahmoo Bay at dust.
